Our room, room 1 upstairs, was a fairytale, and the copper tub in our room was bliss for sore bodies after walking the London streets all day. The shower was awesome too, and nice tea and coffe in our room. We adored it all and have already booked our next stay. We celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary here and it couldn't have been more romantic. We even got bubbles as a surprise. This felt like home away from home. Just so much more beautiful in every detail.

Orașul îmbină ingenios tradiția şi modernismul. Este al patrulea oraș ca mărime din Anglia, dar nu pare blazat, ca o așezare de provincie. Orașul respiră, trăiește, inclusiv prin cei 60000 studenți la cele 2 universități care populează cetatea. Oamenii sunt relaxați, străzile sunt curate, iar punctele turistice de atracție, deși puține, totuși interesante. În afara centrului, cu catedrala, cu teatrul Crucible, unde se desfășoară an de an campionatul mondial de snooker, de Winter Garden sau Lyceum Theatre, am apreciat grădina botanică - un loc plin de linişte, şi de verdeaţă sau Meadowhall Shopping Centre, situat în afara orașului, un mall mai mic decât pe la noi, dar mai liniștit, mai putin zgomotos. La capitolul minus aş menționa că de mâncare nu găsești clasica friptură - decât din vacă, iar pentru cei ce nu mănâncă această carne, cum sunt şi eu, nici nu ştii ce să comanzi la restaurant. Aşa încât, te alegi mereu cu burgeri.

Location, Friendliness of staff, and just basically feeling like I was going in and out of my own home, Facilities always clean. OH.... And the English breakfast included!! I always stay here when I come back to London as I need a few days to unwind. Staff and hospitality are perfect which is crucial as I travel so often. Right near Paddington station and tube/ metro. Relatively short walk into Oxford Street and Hyde Park.

Can't fault The Cave. Was perfect from start to finish, the staff were unbelievably helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Rooms are amazing and the breakfast in bed was the perfect end. The additional bits for the anniversary were an amazing touch. What a place!
